ResponsibilitiesPatient Care:Evaluate patients with respiratory conditions in a skilled nursing facility setting, develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, provide respiratory therapy treatments, administer medications and oxygen therapy, perform diagnostic tests (spirometry, arterial blood gas analysis, pulmonary function testing), monitor patients' vital signs and response to therapy, and provide emergency care such as CPR and airway management. Skills & Knowledge:Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation, proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment, in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the cardiopulmonary system, competence in EMR and computer literacy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
