Floating Requirements: Performs functions outside the Ultrasound Suite, including in the operating room, intensive care units, Emergency Department, and nursing floors, using portable ultrasound equipment. On-call duties providing 24-hour coverage are shared with fellow sonographers only after the sonographer reaches the minimum required expertise as judged by the Ultrasound Manager and physician in charge of Ultrasound.
