Unit Details: Patient populations and cases include respiratory distress, DKA, renal failure, vascular and oncology surgical cases requiring postoperative ICU care (including flaps), non-STEMI and post-code patients, cardiac and cardiac-surgical cases (TVAR, CABG, etc.), and stroke, neuro, trauma, orthopedic, surgical, and medical patients. Floating Requirements: May be asked to float into any other acuity level, including ICU (taking low-acuity holds within the skill set), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele.
