Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients with diagnoses including acute/chronic respiratory illness, CHF/pulmonary edema, renal failure, active GI bleeding, post-operative general surgery, GYN surgery, total knee and hip replacements, diabetes, acute and chronic pain, arrhythmia, drug overdose, and stable COVID patients. Participate in every-other-weekend rotation and work at least one day of each winter holiday (Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve or New Year's Day).
