Unit Details: Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure (CHF), hypertension, chest pain work-ups, COPD exacerbations, asthma, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. Floating Requirements: May be asked to float into any other acuity level: ICU (take low-acuity holds with skill set), PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele; in an extreme need, may float within Zone 3 to OCH, LUH, SAH, or SAN.
