Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Cardiac Renal Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient population including post cardiac procedure (heart cath, ablation, pacemaker), A-fib RVR, ESRD, CHF, sepsis, tracheostomies, nephrostomy tubes, CBI, renal biopsy, and behavioral health/detox patients. Manage drip medications including cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone) and other infusions (Heparin, Lasix, Protonix); recover heart cath patients using femoral and TR band techniques.
