li>Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques with scope of practice such as basic CPR, vital signs, visual acuity, electrocardiogram, wound care including suture set-up, orthopedic splinting, Point of Care testing, assisting with eye and ear irrigation, blood glucose checks and throat swab specimen collection and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Responsible for preparing and operating x-ray equipment during diagnostic patient exams while exercising procedures safely and accurately to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis.
