p>IF ASSIGNED TO HOSPITAL ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR: Adheres to all departmental policies and procedures and regulations when assisting in meeting the ancillary, drug distribution demands of the hospital pharmacy department including delivering medications, accurately preparing and/or checking medications such as unit-dosed medications, emergency trays and carts, automated dispensing cabinet inventory, and checking active inventory for outdated medications.
IF ASSIGNED TO RETAIL/COMMUNITY PHARMACY ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Adheres to all Federal and State Laws pertaining to dispensing and filling of authorized prescription medications and supplies, including but not limited to receiving and verifying prescriptions, selecting medication and filling prescriptions.
