Maintains and ensures patient, staff and environmental safety; maintains proper infection control; maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the workplace and self; demonstrates an understanding of all radiation safety issues (e.g., Image Gently, Image Wisely, etc.) and follow radiation safety procedures to ensure patient safety. Working under the direction of Nuclear Medicine Manager/Supervisor and Clinical Director of Nuclear Medicine, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) is responsible for performing all technical procedures within Nuclear Medicine as described in the DFCI Imaging Policy Manual.
