The Southern Radiology APP provides high-level patient care and clinical support to the Radiologists by performing select radiology procedures including: CT guided, fluoroscopic and Ultrasound modality procedures, Mediport, TDC and other CVA line placements, drain replacements such as biliary and nephrostomy tubes, thoracentesis and paracentesis. Works with the APP VIR Program Supervisor, Lead Vascular and Interventional physician, as well as the Southern Radiology Division’s managing director, in conjunction with the Practice Director of Radiology to develop, implement, and facilitate practice policies and procedures relating to patient care provided by the advanced practice provider team.
