Under the supervision and direction of the Manager, Supervisor, Laboratory site or designee, Accurately and efficiently obtain venous or capillary blood specimens from patients for use in laboratory testing following Laboratory policies and procedures, transport the specimen to the laboratory, perform pre-analytic processing procedures, and complete all associated documentation both written and computerized. May be required to learn and maintain competency to perform phlebotomy including phlebotomy performance, population-appropriate patient education on post-phlebotomy care, and any documentation required.
