2 * Utilizes holistic assessment skills, recognizing subtle, covert or abnormal signs and symptoms that include at least one of the following: involvement of patient/significant other, discharge needs, psychosocial needs, biophysical needs, environmental needs, teaching needs. Under the general direction of the Unit Director, Clinical Manager and Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (R.N.) independently provides holistic, individualized care using the Nursing Process for patients routinely seen on the unit.
