Unit Details: The Med-Surg/Neuro patient population includes all types of Med-Surg/Telemetry patients, including patients with strokes, stable neurological deficits, and post-neurosurgery procedures, plus other Med-Surg overflow. Common diagnoses and patient types include joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbations, prostatectomies, cellulitis, sepsis, orthopedic trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, and failure to thrive.
