Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage is 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule; full- and part-time employees are expected to self-schedule a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule, aligning with department needs, unit staffing plans, and ensuring equitable distribution among all staff. Floating Requirements: Clinicians may be asked to float into any other acuity level, including ICU to take low-acuity holds with the skill set, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele; in an extreme need, they may float within Zone 3. Floating is determined by the nurse manager and department needs.
