suite by reviewing the preference card for the appropriate supplies, assisting with the gathering of equipment and instrumentation, practicing department procedures for hand scrub, gowning and gloving, accurately preparing drugs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, setting up sterile instruments, suture, and all sterile supplies and maintaining sterile field of instruments and supplies during procedures. Completion of national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) within 12 months of hire date.
