Position Summary: Under the direction of the Central Registration Manager, the registrar is responsible for patient registration in various departments including the Emergency Department, Admitting, Outpatient Lab, Imaging Center, and Pre-procedure testing area. The registrar ensures accurate capture of demographic, guarantor, contact, privacy, financial, and insurance information in compliance with regulations from Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
