Unit procedures include ostomy management, ostomy irrigation, NGT placement and management, Foley catheter placement and maintenance, central line management, JP drains, wound management, IV starts, blood administration, and nutritional supplementation including but not limited to TPN and G/J tubes. Common equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, CADD epidural, Alaris PCA, Pyxis medication dispensing machine, telemetry, EKG, bladder scanner, wound vacs, Capnostream machines, and SCD pumps.
