Floating Requirements: Travel nurses are first to float to other nursing units based on patient-care needs and staffing demands and will take patients within their scope of practice on any unit, including Med-Surg assignments in the ICU and Med-Surg holds in the ED. CNA support includes Foley catheter insertion and removal, PIV removal, oxygen setup, bolus tube feeds, EKGs, bladder scans, finger-stick blood sugars, and peripheral blood draws.
