Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, all Tele units, MedSurg, and any and every holding area, including the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, and a hallway. Medical-Surgical C5 is 80% surgical and 20% oncology, with orthopedic, urological, abdominal, Whipple, and women's surgery patients (no OB/GYN); it has 8-10 elective knee/hip cases per week.
