Responsible for verbal redirection of the patient(s) from engaging in potential at risk behaviors, notifying appropriate professional staff of patient's needs including unsafe behaviors, and appropriate documentation on patients' medical records along with other documents, such as handoff report. Provides continuous observation of patients as assigned and maintains continuous clear visual observation of entire patient including clear visualization of patient's face, neck and hands.
