This position requires complete review of medical and surgical history, assessment for risk factors that could potentially lead to anesthesia complications, physical assessment, interpretation of laboratory values, cardiac testing, pulmonary testing and diagnostic imaging. We are the only hospital in New England verified as a Comprehensive Hospital by the American College of Surgeons Quality Verification Program, and just the second in the country, to earn this highest-level designation for surgical quality and safety.
