Temporary Performing Arts Technicians help ensure the technical operations of all equipment is properly maintained, ensuring national, state, and county regulations and codes are met and followed, as well as provide lighting design, sound design, SFX design, lighting console operation and programming, audio engineering, video engineering, rigging, stage management, production management, and technical direction for theatre productions. Working knowledge of set design, carpentry, rigging, chain motors, all power and hand tools, hydraulic lifts, electrical systems, theatrical computer systems, software programs, installation of software for theatrical equipment, fly systems, and maintain working relationships between theatrical production recording and television operations.
