Assists clients with non-medical personal care they cannot independently perform to preserve good personal hygiene while maintaining a healthful, safe environment, including but not limited to some or all of the following: • Bathing • Dressing • Feeding • Exercising • Personal hygiene and grooming • Transferring • Ambulating • Positioning • Toileting and incontinence care • Assisting with medication that the client self-administers • Meal planning and preparation • Transportation • Correspondence • Making telephone calls • Laundry • Shopping for personal care items or groceries • Light housekeeping of areas of the residence client uses • Assists clients with non-skilled exercises as assigned in support of therapy services, such as ambulation and exercise when clients cannot perform those procedures themselves.
