This course allows the trainee to advance to a certified Home Health Aide who is specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of personal care to the patient in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the registered nurse (RN), physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist, and Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). License, Registration, or Certification Requirements: HHA Certificate Completion of a NY Department of Health Approved Home Health Aide training program and competency must be obtained per the program requirements for continued employment as a certified home health aide.
