Ability to collaborate with in-demand industry human resource personnel • Knowledge of current educational resources to include: information on testing, career planning, college admission, graduate and professional school applications, transfers and financial aid processes • Ability to assist in identifying, selecting and enrolling SSS project participants, including but not limited to academic, graduate school, career, and financial aid advising • Knowledge and experience in database management • Ability to recruit, train and supervise tutors • Familiar with conducting and facilitating workshops • Understand barriers similar to those of the SSS project target population and how to support student to overcome them. A condition of the grant requires Assistant Director, Tutor Coordinator, and Academic Advisor candidates to possess a masters degree in counseling, higher education, business, social science, or related field, with at least three (3) years of experience in Academic Advising.
