Assists in leading and engaging residents in the 7 domains of well-being programs - purposeful, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional and physical in a dementia friendly structured environment; including sensory focused small groups for residents who cannot participate in a large group setting. Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Personal Care Assistant to provide support services to assist clients with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs. Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required.

Operates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests), remove staples from superficial wounds, changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication, performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture or via capillary, performs EKGs.
