Interns will learn medication dispensing (interpreting orders, drug product selection, packaging, labeling), computer order entry of medication and IV orders, inventory control, IV compounding (aseptic technique and chemotherapy preparation), chart review, patient counseling, renal dosing, antibiotic monitoring, parenteral nutrition management, anticoagulation dosing and management, and much more. Able to wear personal protective equipment that includes latex materials or appropriate substitute if required for your position.
