p>What Youll Bring/Requirements: • Completion of high school education, or equivalent • Passing score on the Certificated Pharmacy Technician examination offered by the Academy of Pharmacy Technicians, or equivalent • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to relate to other people and work well in a group environment • Demonstrates effective aseptic technique required to prepare sterile preparations • Demonstrates training, knowledge, experience, skills, and techniques required for the safe handling and accurate preparation/compounding of chemotherapy medications • Must maintain certification with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board; Basic Life Support recommended.
Prepares drugs for automated dispensing to be checked by a pharmacist, restocks automated dispensing equipment, assists with monitoring automated dispensing equipment and maintaining this equipment in good working order.
