Working in a closed-door pharmacy environment that serves long-term care and post-acute care communities, you'll spend your day behind the desk managing prescription data, supporting insurance approvals, resolving order exceptions, coordinating with customers and care teams, and helping ensure medications move seamlessly through the pharmacy process. In this role, you'll work behind the scenes reviewing prescriptions, entering new and refill orders, researching and resolving order issues, supporting insurance and prior authorization workflows, tracking medication deliveries, and assisting customers over the phone regarding their medication needs.
