Participates in all aspects of the inpatient medication use process including but not limited to, distribution of medications from pharmacy to patient care areas, proficiency in sterile and non-sterile IV compounding, medication repackaging, proper handling of controlled substances, working effectively with pharmacy automation, the hospital electronic health record, and all applicable information systems as required by the role. TMC employees are expected to present a courteous and helpful demeanor to all patients, visitors, other Truman employees/medical staff members, or any other person an employee encounters while representing Truman Medical Center.
