The role is a key member of our specialty pharmacy services and works closely with patients, ECU Health specialty clinical pharmacists and regional clinic teams to improve patient outcomes, by assisting with processing, filling and delivery of their medications. The Liaison leads and has primary responsibility with receiving referrals, verifying patient demographics and medication coverage in the database, initiating, and obtaining prior authorization requests, facilitating patient assistance, appeals, peer reviews, and co-pay assistance.
