JOB DESCRIPTION: The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Specialist is responsible for areas of specialty that include: Low, Medium and High Risk CSP, Oncology Products, Technician Training, IV Order Entry, Supply Room Maintenance, Outpatient Study, Controlled Substance and Infusion Pump Tracking and Specialty Pharmacy areas. The Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Specialist, in conjunction with the, Outpatient Pharmacy Manager, Infusion Supervisor and Clinical Specialty Pharmacist is responsible for their area of specialty which includes training, program development, writing procedures, and continual analysis of current processes.
