Responsibilities** + Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints + Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures + Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, wound care, and specimen collection as assigned + Administer medications and treatments per facility protocol and scope + Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record + Adhere to infection control, safety, and correctional facility policies + Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and custody personnel to support patient care **Requirements** + Active **Washington State Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C)** + Minimum **1 year of recent clinical medical assistant experience** + **Urgent care experience preferred** + Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills + Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
