Performs computer functions necessary to perform tasks such as retrieval of patient data, registration, order entry, billing, diagnosis coding, and designating providers to receive copies of laboratory reports. Performs venipunctures, arterial punctures, micro-collection techniques (i.e., finger and heel punctures) and other sample (blood and non-blood) collection procedures according to approved policies and procedures.
