Job Summary and Qualifications The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), under the general supervision of the physical therapist, is responsible for the treatment of a wide variety of patients, including, but not limited to patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and other medical conditions in the areas of acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient physical therapy.
