You will recognize and respond promptly and appropriately to acute changes in neonate/infant's condition as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations in the NICU and other hospital departments Our staff is expected to demonstrate knowledge of pathophysiology for common neonatal disorders As a NICU RN, you will provide support and teaching to the family unit You must communicate effectively with all members of the health care team utilizing verbal and written skills What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license Current BLS certification At least one year of NICU RN experience is preferred, but not required At least one year RN experience is required Benefits Henrico Doctors' Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
