Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments, including taking detailed health histories, performing physical exams, and monitoring vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation). Emergency Response and Critical Care: Respond promptly to cardiovascular emergencies such as arrhythmias, heart attacks, or cardiac arrest, providing life-saving interventions including CPR, defibrillation, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
Assists PT, PTA, ATC with evaluation room and gym preparation and clean up including contrast baths, ice cups, hydrocollator and freezer maintenance, removal of e-stim patches and cold packs. Assists with supervising patients while exercising, putting on and removing hot / cold packs, removing electrodes, and general support to the therapists.
