NewTravel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Fusion Medical StaffingTravel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Ketchum, IDEssential Work Functions: Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate Observe and record patient status and progress Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice Required Essential Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities.
