Provides assistance to patients, physicians, fellows and nurses in the medical oncology clinic, radiation oncology clinic and infusion center which includes but not limited to: greeting patients, vitals including height/weight, phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, obtaining medical histories and pertinent clinical information, medication reconciliation, assisting with medical procedures such as biopsies and dressing changes, injections (non-chemo), immunizations, IV placement (non-chemo) and EKG's. Essential Functions: Maintains patient flow in Clinic and/or Infusion area, ensures patient is roomed in a timely manner, directs physicians and fellows to assigned exam rooms and keeps physicians/nurses apprised of special patient needs.
