Responsibilities*Provide prenatal and postpartum care and support.*Conduct routine exams such as pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams*Consultation and treatment related to irregular menses, hormone disorders, fertility and family planning, sexual transmitted disease and menopausal related conditions.*Referral to other OB/GYN physicians and/or healthcare specialists for additional diagnosis, health related screenings, and further evaluation-based treatment.*Prescribe and administer medications or therapies to treat disease or injury.*Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated.*Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. Requirements*Completion of accredited NP, PA-C, or CNM program*Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment*Must maintain active ARNP, PA-C, or CNM licensure throughout employment*DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority*Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.*Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.*Compassionate bedside manner and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
