strong>Key Responsibilities:- Providing care to infants, children, adolescents, young adults with pain from acute and chronic illnesses or those weaning sedatives after a recent critical illness in the inpatient setting.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to conduct patient assessments, medical histories, physical exams and develop a plan of care based on the source of pain and patient needs.
li>Licenses/Certifications: Valid Massachusetts RN license, PALS certification, Board Certified Pediatric NP (Peds NP or Pediatric Acute Care NP), DEA required. What You’ll Do- Provide inpatient pain management for pediatric patients post-surgery, including cancer pain, sickle cell crisis, and other acute pain conditions.
