The Associate Medical Director provides clinical leadership and oversight for OB/GYN team which includes nurse practitioners, midwives, MDs and contractors, promotes excellence in patient care, supports provider development and clinical education, and advances departmental quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be able to perform the following responsibilities: Reports to and works with the department medical director and other health center leadership in providing leadership, direction, and oversight to OB/GYN, with an emphasis on the evaluation and improvement of clinical care and the overall team care of OB/GYN.
