Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including daily rounds, progress notes, and discharge planning • Perform Emergency Department and inpatient consults, admissions, and discharges • Order and interpret laboratory tests and radiologic studies • Field phone calls from acute care floors, inpatient nurses, therapists, and clinical care teams • Facilitate multidisciplinary care coordination and patient/family education • Communicate effectively with outpatient teams to ensure smooth transitions of care • Deliver care in alignment with clinical quality, safety, and experience metrics • Perform procedures within scope of practice as appropriate • Opportunity for first-assisting in the operating room as service needs permit • Collaborate directly with neurosurgeons and other advanced practice clinicians. LICENSURES & CERTIFICATIONS: • PA-Physician Assistant or NP-Nurse Practitioner • CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider • Other - certification based on department requirements.
