What You Bring: A Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences or a closely related field from an accredited college or university5+ years' experience that includes at least 3 years of experience with wetland delineations, stream determinations, environmental permitting, mitigation, protected species surveys, and ecological surveys, and previous experience in the southeast U.S.Demonstrated successful team leadership and management at a project level with a good understanding of safety policies/procedures, quality, business metrics, human resources policies/procedures, and risk management conceptsGIS experience and/or knowledge Excellent oral and written communication skills for clients, staff, and regulatory personnelWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:You are willing and able to perform the physical demands of this position with the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment, such as:Working outdoors in varying weather conditions, outside of normal business hours when necessaryWalking over rough, uneven terrain and standing for potentially long periods Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment)We Are S&ME:At S&ME, we're committed to your growth, professionally and personally.
