Collaborate with UVA's research community (e.g., Link Lab, Center for Advanced Medical Analytics, School of Data Science, and School of Engineering) in areas such as prehospital triage and destination decision-making, trauma and cardiac arrest systems of care, time-critical emergencies (e.g., stroke, STEMI, sepsis), and prehospital data science and AI-driven decision support. Departmental faculty develop and deploy clinical AI and prediction tools on real-time health system data, build health data infrastructure, and study the sociotechnical and ethical dimensions of technology in acute care, in close collaboration with UVA's School of Data Science, School of Engineering, and Link Lab.
