The Department of Pediatrics seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Health System Clinician at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor for the role of Attending Physician in the Division of Allergy & Clinical Immunology.

li> We are expanding our Women's Services program and launching a comprehensive 24-hour, 365-day Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) model to provide continuous inpatient obstetric coverage and support for our OB/GYN physicians. As part of this initiative, we are transitioning our traditional labor and delivery triage area into a dedicated Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), creating an innovative care model focused on timely assessment, patient safety, and exceptional maternal care.
p>The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide excellent occupational health/surveillance, urgent/episodic care, and primary care for the clinic, while also working collaboratively with other medical and operational leadership at Medcor, other Medcor associates, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. The clinic provides a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of workers compensation injuries and illnesses, urgent care, surveillance and regulatory exams, and preventative services.
You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. As a Physician Assistant, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues.
