Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role provides an opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine without the constraints of a traditional practice setting. While most of our services are fully virtual, in-person hybrid opportunities may be available.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment.</li><li>Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.</li><li>Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions.</li><li>Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment).</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and a dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care.</li><li>Stay up to date with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered).</li><li>Helpful to be licensed in one of our high demand states: AL, CA, IN, MS, NC, PA, SC and/or VA.</li><li>Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.</li><li>Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence.</li><li>Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).</li><li>Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact.</li><li>At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required). </li></ul>Why Top Physicians Choose QuickMD:<ul><li>Complete schedule flexibility—work from anywhere, on your terms.</li><li>Highly competitive compensation, with many providers earning over $400K annually while maintaining a balanced workload.</li><li>No administrative burdens—focus entirely on patient care, free from billing or office overhead.</li><li>Fast track onboarding, with a dedicated concierge service to expedite the process.</li><li>Malpractice insurance fully covered, with dedicated legal and compliance support.</li><li>Advanced, seamless telemedicine technology designed for physician efficiency.</li><li>Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in addiction treatment and underserved communities.</li></ul>As part of the onboarding process, all physicians are required to complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training.
