In accordance with such status as independent contractor, physician covenants and agrees that it will not hold herself or himself out as, nor claim to be an officer or employee of the Catawba Service Unit, or of any department, agency or unit thereof by reason hereof, and that he or she will not, by reason hereof, make any claim, demand or application to or for any right or privilege to an officer or employee of the Catawba Service Unit including, but not limited to Worker's Compensation coverage, health coverage, unemployment insurance benefits, Social Security coverage or employee retirement membership or credit. Insurance: For all of the services set forth herein and as hereinafter amended, Physician shall maintain or cause to be maintained, in full force and effect during the term of this agreement, at his or her own expense, malpractice insurance, and keep on file with the Catawba Service Unit a current certificate of coverage.
