Rheumatology Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable to the setting), provide consultative services, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with diseases of the joints, muscles, bones, and tendons. Position includes but is not limited to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with arthritis, rheumatic diseases such as connective tissue diseases, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, and Osteoporosis and procedures including ultrasound guided needle aspirations, diagnosis, and treatment of bone density.
