The Senior Computational Specialist is crucial in defining and building new research services for the next-generation of NYU’s infrastructure, in order to enhance, improve service, help build partnerships, and add capacity and capabilities. The individual in this role works directly with researchers, providing in-depth consultation to help solve computational problems, design algorithms, develop and build applications, and advise researchers on configurations, practices and policies that may improve application performance.
